What drives me to write? It's the rhythm of my own internal compass, the pull of aspirations uniquely mine.
"With your intelligence and empathy, medicine is your calling," people insisted.
I responded, "I'd rather be an excellent nurse than an average doctor."
When people cautioned, "Writing is a dead end, focus on your proven strengths,"
I persisted, fueled by Grandma's observation: "The elaborate excuses you craft to avoid chores show a genuine storyteller talent!"
I've always hungered to craft enchanted realms, breathe life into characters, and spin narratives for readers of all ages. And so, beneath a gray and somber sky, I claimed the title: writer.

I've always been a voracious reader, my dad introduced me to endless books from an early age. As a child, I let my imagination run wild, earning praise from my grandmother for the fantastical stories I concocted to escape chores.

But when asked why I chose to become a writer while having a successful nursing career, I had only one answer: it was my daughter who challenged me on a dreary day when there were no new books to read. “Mom, stop whining!” my daughter demanded, “If you haven't got a book to read, then write one!”
Those words shocked me but planted a seed in my mind that would not cease growing. Taking up the challenge, I began writing stories that myself would want to read; a passion that has continued until this very day.
