That is the question you have to answer after you try the healing crystals.
When I wear my Chakra bracelet I simply feel better mentally and physically. Is it a placebo effect? I don't think so in my case, because I pay a lot of attention to the signals my body is sending me, and my body tells that I'm in balance.

What is Chakra Healing?
The Chakras thought to be the seven power points in the human body that circulate energy or the life force also known as prana. They are vertically aligned in the center of the body close to the spine.
Using gemstones with the chakras can have a great healing effect.
Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning “wheel” a constantly revolving wheel of energy. They are the source of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energy.
When our chakras are blocked, or not in balance, the free flow of energy is impeded, leading to physical, emotional, mental or spiritual disease. When the chakras are unblocked and free-flowing, we can enjoy optimum health.
Each chakra is associated with specific colors and crystals and have different effects of health, behavior and emotional well being.

Using the crystals for healing
Place the crystals on your body and visualize a white, healing energy of love and healing entering your body with each inhalation.
Exhale and visualize all stresses, pains and negative thoughts and energies leaving your body with each breath.
Visualization is a powerful tool that enhances the effect of the crystals’ healing.
Direct your energy as the crystals rest near their respective chakras. Move your energy from the root chakra to the crown chakra. Visualize the chakra as a glowing sphere, spinning rapidly and freely.
You may find that some chakras intuitively feel closed off or inactive, while others feel uncomfortably energized, almost with an electric buzzing feel. It’s important to balance the entire system, if this is the case, so that no chakras are underactive or overactive.
Leave the stones in place for at least 10-15 minutes (or longer). Maintain a positive attitude, ALWAYS focusing on the desired end result and not the problem you want to heal.
Exhale and visualize all stresses, pains and negative thoughts and energies leaving your body with each breath.
Visualization is a powerful tool that enhances the effect of the crystals’ healing.

Located at the base of the spine
Colors: red, black
Stability, grounding, physical energy, will, security.
Includes: kidneys and bladder, adrenal gland, the vertebral column, hips, and legs area.
Health problems: constipation, diarrhea, piles, colitis, Crohn's disease, cold fingers and toes, frequency of urination, hypertension (high blood pressure), kidney stones, impotence, hip problems, legs, and feet.
Healing crystals: hematite, black obsidian, red zincite, garnet, smoky quartz
2nd Chakra
Sacral
Located below the navel
Color: orange
Creativity, healing, sexuality and reproduction, desire, emotion, intuition.
Includes: uterus, large bowel, prostate, ovaries, and testes. (In the fetus the testes develop in the lower abdomen, thus linking with the sacral chakra energy, then descending to the scrotum by birth.)
Health problems: pre-menstrual syndrome, problems with menstrual flow, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, irritable bowel syndrome, endometriosis, testicular disease, prostate disease.
Healing crystals: orange calcite, vanadinite, carnelian
3rd Chakra
Solar Plexus
Located in solar plexus, below breastbone
Color: yellow
Intellect, ambition, personal power, protective.
Includes: liver, spleen, pancreas, stomach and small intestine.
Health problems: diabetes, pancreatitis, liver disease, peptic ulcer, Celiac disease, and gallstones.
Healing crystals: citrine, yellow jasper, golden calcite.
4th Chakra
Heart
Colors: pink and green.
Located in the center of the chest
Love, compassion, universal consciousness, emotional balance.
Includes: heart, breasts, and thymus gland.
Health problems: heart diseases, immune system related problems, possibly fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, allergies, cancer of the breast.
Crystals: rose quartz, tourmaline, aventurine, malachite, jade
5th Chakra
Throat
Located at the neck above the collarbone.
Color: blue
Communication center, expression, divine guidance.
Includes: throat and lungs, thyroid gland and the upper digestive tract can be affected by imbalance in this area.
Health problems: Thyroid problems - overactive/underactive; Anorexia nervosa (this is a multi-chakra problem but has a strong connection to the throat chakra); asthma; bronchitis; hearing problems; tinnitus - may also be connected to problems with the brow chakra; problems of the upper digestive tract; mouth ulcers, sore throats, tonsillitis.
Healing crystals: sodalite, blue calcite, blue kyanite, blue turquoise
6th Chakra
Third eye or brow chakra
Location centered above eyebrows, at medulla
Color: Indigo
Spiritual awareness, psychic power, intuition, light.
Includes: eyes, sinuses, and pituitary gland.
Health problems: tension headache, migraine, visual defects, short-sightedness, long-sightedness, glaucoma, cataracts, sinus problems, ear problems.
Healing crystals: lapis lazuli, azurite, suqilite
7th Chakra
Crown
Located at the top of the head.
Colors: violet, white
Enlightenment, cosmic consciousness, energy, perfection.
Includes: brain and pineal gland.
Health problems: depression, Parkinson's disease, Schizophrenia, Epilepsy, senile dementia, Alzheimer's, many mental disorders, confusion, and dizziness.
