The answer is:

The alpha took a step toward her, and a menacing low growl escaped his throat. He pulled up his upper lip, showing a row of sharp teeth. His yellow eyes glowed in the moonlight. Olivia couldn’t move; his eyes held her captive. She inhaled sharply and, with shaky fingers, pulled Cordelia’s crystal amulet hanging around her neck on a string and held it up in the moonlight.
The moon shone through the crystal, casting an eerie amber glow onto the werewolves, which made them back up and growl deeper from inside their chests. They kept retreating into the forest. Olivia quickly picked one flower, not wanting to keep her back turned to them for long, in case they were waiting for their moment to strike.
She ran through the forest, clutching the flower firmly to her chest, back to her car as fast as she could.
Olivia panted heavily as she leaned against her car and held the flower tightly. She fished her keys out of her pocket with shaky fingers when she heard a throaty growl and loud ripping, breaking sounds behind her. She was petrified, but slowly turned her head.
She saw a naked man crouching behind a low bush, his face contorted in pain. “Thank you… for taking… only one flower.” His words came in short puffs. “I can’t hold my human form for long—you must leave. Tell Cordelia… tell her… I love her and miss her… so much.” He howled, and his body started to contort and change.
