I met Paula in one of the Facebook writers groups. We have been following each other's work since, but we became friends recently and got to know each other better. She is a great and strong person, having many medical problems, caregiver to her ailing husband and still finds time to write, help friends and animals. She published this children's book and donates the royalty to animal rescue groups.
Her effort is close to my heart, because of my Read for Animals project to help animal shelters and animal hospices.
